Nokia is soon to be releasing its E71 business phone with a landscape design and candybar form factor with a QWERTY keyboard. The E71 will come with American 3G bands so it will be compatible for use on AT&T. According to Engadget Mobile, the retail cost is just under $500 and you don't need to sign your soul over to AT&T under a two-year term. The device will be sold contract-free and SIM unlocked.

well I just sold my Windows Mobile phone and I am back using my e61.
And I have to admit that its a much better phone than the WM devices I had since I retired the Nokia. The reception is much better (I have not to almost no 3G reception with the HTC touch dual, eten m800 and the 9502 in my office, the e61 has almost full reception), the battery lasts twice as long and the day to day tasks are much quicker. It is also more responsive. that being said, I am on the lookout for the next WM device I buy, as it just a lot more fun to customize them and the touchscreen is something i miss. |
