Wow - if this is any indication of how well REDFLY's are selling, the company has just discounted the product by an insane 60% until October 31, bringing the price to just $199, as spotted by JKOnTheRun. I may even consider getting one at this price.
Check out the Celio website for more info. See also: Our REDFLY review

If it were compatible, would you get a REDFLY?

Just bought mine. My friend has one and it work great for meetings/travel. Don't have to keep two computers sync'd, plus you only need the PDA data plan on at&t. Saves $30 a month over the tethering plan.

To provide a dissenting opinion, probably not. Maybe I'm being short-sighted. But I just don't see the usage scenario for me. My HTC Advantage, as good as it is, does not replace a PC, at least for the work I do. That work includes not just certain apps that don't run on WinMo, but also are sites running Java applets which WinMo currently won't run. So on a business (or pleasure trip during which business too often intrudes), I need a PC anyway.
Of course, if your WinMo device is perfectly adequate for your usage scenario, then the Redfly may make sense given the large screen and the keyboard. Though even there I'm not sure. The keyboard isn't that big a deal since my Stowaway BT keyboard works with my Advantage. So it's really just the screen, and given I have a 5" screen with the Advantage (as I would with the coming MIDs), again not sure I'm getting that much extra for another device to lug around (+ $200). Just my $.02. Update: Great minds think alike. Or maybe fools seldom differ. In any event, see Is the Redfly a Good Buy at $200? I'm Not So Sure
